Mission Statement
The mission of the Bloomingdale Fire Department is to provide comprehensive emergency response services through fire suppression, prevention, investigation, inspection, hazard material mitigation, first responder services and safety education services to the residential, commercial and industrial citizens and operations of the City of Bloomingdale for the preservation of life and property.


Drink plenty of fluids, especially when working or playing in the sun.



If someone who is not breathing or doesn’t have a pulse, call 911. Perform CPR by clasping hands, pushing hard and fast in the center of the chest until medical personnel arrive.

If someone is bleeding, have the person lie down. Cover with a clean cloth and apply pressure by pushing down with hands. Keep pressure until medical help arrives.
